Hi,

I have a requirement for a DDI number to be on permanent divert to a mobile. The user does not have a account on the call manager, nor does he need one. I just need to provide a Land-line number so it can divert to his mobile. What is the best way for me to achieve this with the lease amount of aggro please. Should I use a route pattern or something ? or can this be done on the router ?
We have Call manager 7.1.2 and our Voice Gateway is a Cisco 2811.
Any ideas / help will be much appreciated.

create a CTI route point with a DN of xxxx which your DDI will point to and forward it always to the cell phone.

Hi, Thanks for that. Hoe do I point the DN at the DDI please ?

use a translation pattern to point the DID to the CTI route point.

Ok so I'm just learning cisco voice and have only just started at that, but wouldn't it be easier to create a dial peer that strips the incoming number and substitutes the line access code followed by the mobile number? Isn't there a command that can actually do this for you (I can't immediately remember it but I used it to make operator calls go to the extension I wanted)? Are there advantages to doing it the way you describe

Sorry to intrude but as I say I'm trying to learn!

Why create a CTI route point? Translate the incomming number to the mobile number on the translation pattern i would say

I agree with silverblade. A translation pattern would be all you need.
