Call Display while on a call BCM50 Rel3

I have a BCM50 Rel3.

When I am on a call using a T7316 and another call comes in, the display cahnges momentarily to show me the incoming CLID. I do not need to use the F811 feature.

This does not happen when I'm talking on an I2004 set.

Is it the set configuration or a hardware limitation.

Also, what does the 'Auto Called ID" checkbox do in the Set configuration? I can't see the difference when selected or not.

The Auto called ID (identification) momentarily shows the number of the called party on the display of a Norstar extension. The default is No, the Auto called ID is not displayed.
