Call display & tranferred calls on BCM50

Hi, Is there a way to see the CLID info of a call that is transferred to a phone before the call is answered? The lines do not ring on this telephone, only intercom and transferred calls ring. I seem to remember it worked on the Norstar system so does it just not work on the BCM50? Thank you for your time!
 
Hi, It does work with F811 but we don't want to have to use this feature. We want it to be automatic. Any idea why it isn't? Thanks
 
Thanks. I'll check that when I'm in the office next week.
 
Also, be sure that calls are allowed to ring 2 times before the call is initially answered. The Caller ID info comes in between the first and second ring.
 
When I was on site I tested every line and all is working fine. I'm wondering if perhaps something was going on in the CO that day that affected the call display and these guys blew it out of proportion. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated!
