Call Director - Blocking Calls

Hi All,

I am currently trying to setup blocked calls for a customer site but have run into a bit of an issue.

I am using call rerouting to send all calls for one extension to go directly to voicemail.
From there I set up a caller ID check to block certain numbers if they match - this part works fine.

When a caller ID doesn't match one that I want to block, I set up a blind transfer to go back to the original extension. From here it just gets stuck in a loop of trying to transfer, hitting the reroute all to voicemail and then trying to transfer again and so on and so on.

Has anyone seen this and know a way to get the call back to the original extension after doing the caller ID check?

you cant do what you are suggesting

you need to take the incoming call and route that via a dummy number to the voicemail
set that dummy number as an alternate on the Nupoint and then it can transfer back
