I have added 6 new t/r extensions and 1 new MLX extension to an existing Legeng R6V11 that I was not the original installer on. The T/R sets go to waive off when I dial 9, and the MLX does the same thing, with the added message of "call denied." I have done all the usual; make sure the FRL is 3 (which is what the rest of the working stations are), check the restrictions, make sure they have lines assigned, checked to make sure they are not looking for forced acct codes, etc etc etc. The fact that the message says "call denied" leads me to believe I am missing something in the ARS tables that may have been set up a long time ago - thanks in advance.

Have you tried to print a working ext and print one of the ones that does not work and use SPM to compare. it will show you what is different between them.

one thing i have seen before is someone change the pool number to 9 and give everyone dial out codes. Very odd but it worked for them untill we added stations and could not dial out. The only thing with it that way is the ARS is bypassed.

So...the owner found the original documentation from the install; the night service button was password protected, and no phones were allowed to make calls after hours unless they were programmed under "excluded stations" in the night service parameters. Since these were all new extensions, none of them were on the list. Once I added them to the excluded list all was well. I would have never figured that out so thank goodness for old records!

Thats a new one i have never seen set up before. thanks for letting everyone know what it was.

That is a very good reason to read the Feature Reference document for both the Legend & Magix. It is very complete in its description of how it works and all the interactions with other features, etc.

Happy reading!
