Call Crystal Report from ASP 1

Can Anybody post sample ASP code to call Crystal Report(9.0). Just plain code to call the report which is already developed in Crystal Report 9.0.

Turkbear or anybody,

I did download zip file and extracted to a virtual directory, I just tried files BeginHere, SimpleReportExport
when I run the SimplePreviewReport or SimpleReportExport
all I see is empty browser(with a border)/balnk document.

Can you tell me what should I check to run this asp pages.

My configutation is Windows 2000 Professional, Visual Interdev 6.0, Crystal Reports 9.

Hi,
Be sure you are providing the correct Report identification.
Any error messages?

Read the Readme to be sure you have configured everything correctly..also look at the source files to be sure they match your environment.

I tried with the BeginHere zip file, this one is working fine for me with other reports also in my XP machine, but when I'm trying to use the same files in Operating System 2000 I'm getting just empty screen.

Is it related to any ActiveXControls issue in 2000? Do I have to make any changes in IE settings or Crystal Settings?

Hi,
Not that I am aware of - most of our .asp stuff is running on W2K - but we use CE not the RDC..But I have run those examples in W2K ( I actually used the V10 ones - and the 8.5 before that, never tried 9)

I found the solution, now I am able to run the Crystal Reports from ASP Pages in windows 2000 also.
I did install npviewer.exe in the system that has windows 2000 OS, I did find this npviewer.exe in my Windows XP machine. This npviewer.exe helped me to view reports from the other PCs in the network.
Anyway thanks for your suggestions and RDC files link.
