Call Classifier and IPSI

Do I need both CC's and IPSI's? I have 2 IPSI's per PN. I've heard that the IPSI replaced the CC from some and I'm also reading you need a CC as well.

Each IPSI has (8) Call Classifier ports. If you have (2) IPSI boards in a Port Network, then you have (16) ports. If you exceed the number of CC ports, you can add TN744 Call Classifier boards. You can monitor/manage the port usage by doing 'list measurement tone summary [yesterday/today/last-hour].
