I have a contivity connected to a BCM, we have loaded the reporter on a standalone PC running IS Services. Through the Contivity I can ping the BCM the with the stand alone pc. When trying to run the reporter though it doesnt seem to be talking to the BCM. I did enable the streaming on the BCM but beyond that I don't know why it isnt talking. It doesnt see the Skillsets that are built in Call Pilot.

What do I need to check? I don't think the problem is the Contivity because it can be pinged but I am not sure what I missed.

Thanks!

I am assuming that the PC is on one side of the Contivity, and the BCM is on the other....

The contivity will not allow traffic that is not explicitly permitted. You do not have to tell it what to deny.

Can you be sure that traffic (all necessary ports)into and out of the trusted side of the contivity is permitted between the BCM and the PC?

I eliminated the contivity and connecting straight to the BCM to confirm that I thought it was not the Contivity causing problems, still not talking to the reporter but I can ping and enter the BCM via web browser.

I got the Call center reporter to work without the Contivity, it was a corrupted database. Now when i put the Contivity back in place it does nto connect. At least now I know it is a config in the contivity. Everything as far as I can see says permit all, got a ticket into Nortel to help with this one.
