Hi all, We have just install JD Edwards Enterprise ERP system to our company. Our first step was to train our call centre (10 staff) which are used to a Linux based programs to take order over the phone and enter them simultaneously. Using JD Edwards software, we though this will make it faster. The staff was used to a keyboard-based interface which I must admit was very fast to handle. Now with the ERP which is web-based, they are having to use the mouse a lot. Is there any way I can configure it to make it keyboard dependent?

Any suggestions will help.

Thank you in advance,
Marios

Keyboard data entry is always faster than mouse data entry, as you know. YOu could think about finding out what keyboard shortcuts work with order entry program. This site is short on Edwards people. You might try it is a site devoted to the Edwards product. You might see if there are any options that would turn off the windows interface, and go back to the "green screen". It is a long shot at best.
