Call button system

Hi everyone. I'm interested in purchasing (or creating) a call button system similar to the call button on a hospital bed. I'd like to have a wireless pendant transmitter which connects through a wireless router and sends a signal to a server (IP based). I'll write the software to capture the signal. One step down from that would be a receiver which connects to a pc via usb or rs-232. I've found several which might work, but most have a limited number of channels. I'd prefer it be unlimited (or at least 75 channels per receiver). Hence the wireless to server.

Any suggestions or links? The search on tek-tips seems to be down at the moment so I couldn't search the forums.
