Hi,

Does anyone find a solution to solve the issue of Call Assistant config file location when using TSE or Citrix (as discussed in thread940-1735004) ?

I was thinking of using a network share to store the config file and do a "mounting point" in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\ to point the network ... For now I didn't manage to create a SYMLINK to a network share ....

Any idea ?

Best regards

Hi,

I didn't manage to make the mounting point ... but I find a workaround.
At the opening of the user session, I start a BAT file which copy the config file from a network to the right place and then run Call Assistant.
I also made another script that copy the config file from Local directory to network share.

Not a really solution but it do the job.

Server based user profiles should be the way to go.

Yes but this means you have to store the entire Local directory which contains a lot of things including Temporary Internet Files.
and my customer doesn't want to store this files !
