Call AS400 program in VB with problem!!!

Hi! I have a project in vb and I need to call a RPG program in an AS400 that gives as return a field (8 character string length). After that I process in my vb prog. the result of the called.

I have tried with the example given by tbonevb, but some how It doesn't work properly and lock the running.

Would somebody please tell me what's wrong ?
