Hello,

Whenever one of our users dials an 866 number, an operator comes online and says, "Call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check your number and try again".
At first I thought this was an issue with the local phone service. But after having a technician come out and test all of our lines, he suggested to check the calling tables of our phone system to see what we're allowed to call.
All I can think of is the restrictions table. Unfortunataly I only see 1-900 restricted on both the sets and the lines.

Has anyone ever run into a similar situation? I've been reading through the manuals and can't figure it out. I have successfully reached the 866 number by bypassing the PBX system. So I know the 866 number does work. Plus some one tried to call another 866 number and could not get through.

Thanks!

my first sugestion would be to make sure if you are using routing that you are not routing 866 calls thu a watts line.. they b=nned to be routed out your local lines.
If they are going local and you still can't access it.. you might try listin to the recording all the way thu to see if it gives you a error code at the end.. IE: 2EG

Do you get this sam error from choosing a line off the reception set then dialing an 866 number? or do you have PRI lines?
