Does anybody here knows something about call accounting software? I want to make a report of a phone extension but I can't figure it out, Thank you for your help.
What type of call accounting software are you using?

Sorry, this is not a program that I'm familer with. We use eCAS from Veramark for our Call Accounting. Perhaps someone else in the forum will be able to help you out.
Good luck.

I think this may be a software element for reporting of centrex services call accounting from the telco. I am not sure, but is my best guess with limited info.
Are trying to collect this data from a PBX? if so, please tell what make/model it is. If you are looking to collect data on a single extension, you don't need a call accounting package. Most switches have features where you can log activity, called SMDR (station message detail recording).

Aquilium Software Corporation, where do you find these off the wall systems? i didn't know there was one i hadn't at least heard the name of.. is that owned by bob and betty Aquilium?
gaspar, maybe we should start over and find out what you actually need help with.
Is your switch outputting data, is the software collecting it, is the data readable, or do you just need help interpreting it?
If you're not getting data into the software, have you checked the settings on the PBX, is the cabling ok (the old "is it plugged in and turned on"), are the call accounting software settings correct, especially the type of switch data it's set to read?
If you are getting data into the software, are you able to retrieve information? From this specific extension or from any extension?
Are you looking for info the switch doesn't output? CDR data usually includes at a minimum start time and duration, and the source and destination, but it won't tell you if a call was actually made by someone who "borrowed" another user's desk.
It's difficult to know where to look next without more information. What problem are you having and what have you tried so far?
MDR is who wrote the CDR package for Nortel's MAT system. I think they were aquired. CDR software...everyone has the best.
The company we use started in 1978, and to this day, they have zero voice menus and a person answers promptly time.
That, my friends, is what defines quality. If they can afford to actual humans to answer the calls for that many years, you can figure the software has gone through some pretty good developers before hitting the street. .
I used them in 1982 for the first time, and one of the reception folks is still there...geez... a career receptionist.
I will spare everyone the name of the company in this forum
Geez o pete... everyone knows it's Avotus... I will remain silent on what I think of them... however, just readiung this thread lets me know that you have minimum needs.
MDR was aquired.. however the Name Avotus was created to get rid of the legacy of the old MDR/Switchview or OTM branding/association.
If you are trying to run call accounting from MAT or OTM for anything over 500 - 1000 extentions... YOU SHOULD BE WARNED!!!
