Customer has 10 POTS lines in the Magix system. They are interested in call accounting. Here is my question! If they subscribe to Caller ID and set the SMDR options to ISDN format, will the system report the incoming CLID for the POTS lines? I ask because I have never had someone ask for call accounting with only POTS lines. Does the MAGIX report the incoming ID on POTS lines? Is the only setting needed to be ISDN (I thought this was for PRI only)? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

If you program the lines for LSID delay, yes the incoming Caller ID will be passed to the SMDR, and to the call accounting if it is capable of understanding it.

My SMDR options would still need to be set to ISDN, correct in order to report the CLID on POTS lines, yes?
