Call Accounting SV8300

We have an SV8300 and are looking into installing the Univerge SMB8000 Communications Analyst as our call accounting package.
Can this be installed on VMWare?
Are there any other/better options?

We use Metropolis' OfficeWatch, which works with virtually every PBX and PMS on the market. It's extremely user friendly and has great features like 911 emergency alarms, customizable reports, toll fraud alerts, trunk analysis, the list goes on and on. Metropolis also has 24/7 support.
