I see there are many suggestions on different call accounting to utilize with Nortel CS1000 or Avaya systems and we currently use Tapit Nova. It is not expensive (seriously $1,000) and it has done an okay job but we are moving to a server based Call Accounting because our group says the Call Accounting is vital for them (AKA they never want to lose records). So, is there a different recommended Call Accounting? Our vendor is recommending VeraSMART but they said they can't touch the $1,000 mark and our group doesn't even want to spend money for a server (so we are trying to find a 'free' one that is no longer used at our site).
