Does anyone know how to set up a calender type function in CR 8.5. I want to write a crosstab with the this months dates e.g. 01/07/2002 to 31/07/2002 and have registered under these a count against each day when a certain incident happens. Please help

The "Group Options" button for a date field used for a CrossTab column or row allows you to specify you want a new column or row for each day.

CUT (Crystal UTilities): e-mailing, exporting, electronic bursting & distribution of Crystal Reports:

Calendars aren't built into Crystal, you'll have to cheat this if you don't have data for every day.

Ken Hamady suggests this technique:

If you have data for each day, you can just group by the date and do your counts in the cross-tab.

If you don't, I suggest that you create this on the database side using a period (dates) table to link and summarize on PRIOR to reporting, Crystal is very weak with this type of functionality.
