Calendar with sharepoint

Hi everyone,
New to sharepoint. Just recently installed the server and would like to find out how to integrate a calendar. We are using a shared calendar and would like to place that in the sharepoint environment. any help would be grealty appreciated. I am using 3.0 and AD.

Thanks for your post. However, I can't use public folders. Although i've looked at this option, it doesn't work well. I have a generic account where we all share the calendar in use for office events. I'd like this calendar to be posted on the sharepoint portal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your other option would be to use the Calender built into sharepoint. I know that's not your perfered option but unless you can add the calender as given above link by Chance then that may be it.
