Calendar Posting Problem

Basically, i created 3 new calendars that can only be accessed by
3 different teams. On these new calendars, when i post a new
event (thread), no madder what date i specify as the "begin"
(start) date, the event always posts on the current date.

Example:

If i post an event on the calendar today, about a meeting @ 1pm on friday
(and i specify friday as the "begin" date), it posts it on todays date.

Hello Chris,

When creating an event that will occur in the future, you will see the post in the view when you have saved it.

Do you actually mean that when you have saved the event that the begin date is wrong, or do you mean that you just see the event before it is taking place?

You can change the way your events is displayed by modifying the views and also creating your own views and set up filters and sorting rules.

By default all events will be displayed once they are saved even if they occur at a later date. In my events list (calendar) I can see events that will take place in 3 months although when looking at the begin and end dates they are the ones I set when creating the event.

I might have missunderstood you here....

I don't think you understood me correctly though


The views for my calendar are fine, the problem is with the posting.

today is thursday, and i need to post an event that says i have a meeting on monday.

I create the event with the begin date on monday, yet the post is stored on thursday.

In otherwords, all my events are being posted on the day they are made, instead of posting on the "begin" date i specify.

I greatly appreciate your help.
