I would like to insert a link into a Word doc so when users select the link, they can select a date from the calendar and it will automatically insert that date into a cell. Where do I find to do this?
thank you.

Chris

Excuse me? A link to what? Do you have a specific hyperlink in mind? Are you asking about Outlook calendar? I am not sure what "the" calendar is in reference to.

"into a cell". Does that mean you want the selected date to go a different location from where this "hyperlink" is? Or is this hyperlink in a Word table?

Please describe what you think will happen. Or what you actually want to happen.

It it helps, here is a link to a Word tutorial on creating a popup calendar. However, it uses VBA. There is no built-in selectable calendar in Word. The only built-in date in Word is the current date.

Gerry,
That link is exactly what I'm looking for. Thank you!

Chris

With all due respect, then perhaps your post should have asked:

How can I get a selectable date in Word?

Because that tutorial has no link to anything. It builds a calendar. The user does not activate a link - they fire some VBA.

I was not sure what to call it at the time.
Sorry, i have been sick this week.

The link is what I have been looking for. thank you for clear me up.[cheers]
