Hello, I have an event DB set up. The users would like a calendar view form that they can click throuhg. On any given day, any number of events can be listed. We will be using short abbreviations and color coding to highlight two types of events.

Now, I am wondering if there's a control out there that would allow me to dynamically add labels (preferably clickable labels to allow a drill down) and I can add this to the Access form.

Ideally, there is something where all I have to worry about is tagging a day with its respective events and color coding its font based on a type value.

Does anyone know of something like this or if it exists?

I am using Access 2000 for this project.

thx in advance
Jim

There is a calendar program for Access that is free. I found it looking for something else, but I have been googling it and can not find it. Try searching things like "Create Calendar for MS Access"

Good luck.

I have an "event calendar" that does something like what you want. It shows the appropriate month and when you click on a date, you can type in messages. Later when you click on the date, the messages appear. Also, since it was created for a manufacturing plant that has breakdowns, you can assign a "down day" and that date will appear in a different color and with a list of departments abbreviations in that box. Now the problem is that Tek-tips doesn't allow me to give you my email address, so if you read this and want a copy of the database, post back and maybe we can figure something out.
