Hi
We are experiencing weird permissions issues with users calendars and the outlook (07) scheduling assistant. The assigned permissions under the calendar properties for a user do not reflect what someone is able to view when they are using the scheduling assistant to arrange meeting requests.
For example: User A, calendar permissions set to Default(none)
User B, from Meeting request>Scheduling assistant, can see free/busy info.
This was previously worse in that User B could see appointments from the scheduling assistant for User A even though they had not been granted any permissions for the calendar. I was able to correct this by disabling the mailbox for User A and using the disconnected mailbox wizard to re-enable but the permissions still do not seem to be right.
User B is not able to open the calendar for User A but the scheduling assistant seems to bypass this by allowing them to view free/busy that they have no right to.
Has anyone else come across this?
Cheers
Cammy
