Hi all,

I have downloaded the linux driver for 3c905c-txm but I am clueless in installing the driver to the Linux I have.
Can anyone advice?

Thanks

is there any README file with the drivers? ussualy you must to compile it and the makefile do all the job for you...

make && make install

(again, ussualy).

Are you sure you need a third-party driver? I have a 3c905 card (can't remember the exact model) and it's supported using the 3c59x driver that ships with the kernel. Your distribution almost certainly ships with this module pre-compiled.

Yup, AdaHacker. I cant get the card working. The card works on other OS. I was told to use gcc to compile the driver but I do not know whcih gcc version to donwload so it allows me to compile the card driver.

Why can't you use the GCC version that came with your OS? Are you getting compile errors? Can you give us something more to go on?
