Caldera Eserver 2.3.1 as web server

I plan on setting up a web server to run 5+ domains. I have 2 static IP Addresses. I am running Caldera E-server 2.3.1. I wish to enable hosting using virtual IPs.
What should my hostname be for the server?
Example: If I have the domains
domain1.com
domain2.com
domain3.com
does it really matter what my hostname is and is my hostname the same thing that you see in whois output for nameservers which is usually ns1.domain.com?
