Calculation want to double

I have a calculation in a balance sheet that doubles the amount and i can not find my problem. I have checked for double records, not that. checked the calculation all it is [sum if yr = prompt and period<= prompt then 'full value' else 0.} this works in other BS but in this BS it wants to double the amount. the only thing i am wondering about is if i have my promts in the calculation and the filter will that make a difference
Any suggestions
