Calculation field when using Stored Procedure

Hi,
I have developed a Cognos Impromptu report (ver 5.0) with a sybase stored procedure by editing the SQL.
My problem is I am not able to insert any calculated fields (like SUM, COUNT) etc., in the report. The Calculation menu item under Insert menu is disabled.
I would also like to know how to suppress a field.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
