Hey Guys...<br><br>I'm trying to make a photo album in Access97 but every time I try to go from record to record it says "Calculating..." for hours...<br><br>Any way to make this faster ?<br><br>I think my photos are too big... 8.5" X 14" ...<br><br>It works ok with my Business Cards ...2x3<br><br>Thanks !!!

File Size is the issue here.<br>What type of photos are they, .BMP's<br>Use something smaller like .JPG or .GIF<br>Do you have a Paint program that converts from one file type to another?<br>Paint Shop Pro does<br><A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> there is a forum on here<br><A HREF=" TARGET="_new">

Thanks for your reply...<br><br>I was aware of the file types issue, <br>But I think I may have at lease found a work around...and I do have PaintShopPro5 it's a cool program I use it alot,<br><br>It seems that if you link the photos it runs fast...<br>But I need some security so, embedding is the only option.<br>I got it to work better by putting the photos in another DB and linking the table to the current one..<br><br>I'll post again if I find a better solution, <br>Thanks Again !!!!!!!
