Here's what I need to do. ( I'm stuck here )
I would like to be able to do a substraction from data that comes from the same field.

I would like to substact a number from the current line with a number from the previous line.

After this is done I would like to summarize this ne formula field with the results from the substractions.

Any help is appreciated.

Peace
Jason

There is a Previous() function, but once you use it any totals will have to be running totals that use variables. Ken Hamady

Hi Ken,
When I use the Running total fields,
I do not see the Parameter field,(So I can use it) in which I substracted the value with a previous value ...with the previous function...

Could you elaborate on the part where you said " any totals will have to be running totals that use variables. "

Thanks

Peace
Jason

There are two types of running totals in CR, the automatic kind and ones built with variables in formulas. See the FAQ on runnin g totals, and use the 3-formula technique. Ken Hamady
