Can anyone help please? I have put together a database to track all costs relating to a project and have reports to show total spend to date. Every time I try to calculate the total sum in the report footer it only takes the last sum and not the whole - any ideas please?

Try this:

On the property "Control source" of your field that will hold the sum, type the following:

=Sum([FieldName])

Hope I could help,

Wilson

Help! I'm having really big problems trying to calculate a 'total' value in my Access report. I'm doing everything I think that I should but it only picks up the last value on the report - is this a problem with the grouping?
