In my database I track how much time each person puts into a project usign a time feild. this si displayed as HH:MM on a 24 hour clock.

What i want to do is in the report SUM all of the time from each person into one total per project. How would i do this?

Are your times stored as strings?
Is there a start time and end time or is each entry just an elapsed time? Best Regards,
Mike

Not to pee on your parade, CRAMan, but you're probably going to be better off storing your times as numeric entries rather than date/time fields. Date/Time fields are used to store an INSTANT in TIME, not an ELAPSED amount of time.

You have to do all kinds of fancy date arithmetic to get accurate elapsed times when you do it your way. Storing the elapsed times as simple numbers makes it much easier.

Just remember to do whatever appropriate edit checking is necessary, e.g. no more than x hours in a day or whatever...
