I cannot figure out how to calculate subtotals on two different variables in a subtotal line.

Have a report that has sales calls on report and want to produce the following layout. There is company name and products shown such as below:
Company x product A
Company x product b
Total calls: count(company x) count(product)
---- so in this case there is 1 company with 2 products
I cannot figure out how to only count company x 1 time, even though it shows on 2 detail lines.

Any help is appreciated.

Set a group level for Company. Add an unbound field with the control source property set to =1, the running sum property set to Over Group, and the visible property to No. Then in the report footer call this control by putting it's name in the control source property of another unbound control:

=RunningSumControlName
