calculating median of data

I have a table of data in an Excel spreadsheet and was wondering if there was an Excel function that could put the data in order and calculate the median of the data.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
functions can't sort data - only teh user/ a macro can do that.

there is a median function which will give you the median though.

OOPS! I misread it, probably because I was thinking about Access at the time. :(
