Hi,

Is there a way I can calculate the percentage of files between a certain file size? Would it be something I'd need to write a script for or is it built into the OS like auditing is on Windows?

Thanks.

I don't quite understand your question. Are you trying to determine the number of files that would be in range, like between 3MB and 6MB?

If yes, hit Command F while in Finder to bring up the find window and select Size. You can specify greater and lesser than.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook
