How would I calculate a field from several child table entries that are on one form? My form lists several items from a secondary table on a form. Each item is from the same table and there are as many as five entries per master record. I want to calculate the cost field from the five and give a total. I can only get the field name to work and this is the same for all five entries. It then totals five times the first entry on the form. Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,JIm Merritt

Jim,

Use separate calculated fields, e.g. one for each child table and then a final one that depends on the Value property of the others. You don't have to display the interim calculated fields.

Hope this helps...
