Hi All,

I am trying to sum an unbound field in my report, but when i add it and run the report all i get is a prompt to fill in the value.

Does anyone have any idea on how i could sum an unbound field in my report?

Thanks,

Rob

You can use Running Sum: either set your unbound control to running sum, or create a new textbox (hidden, perhaps) and set this to reference your textbox:
=[MyTextBox]
and set this to Running Sum.
The hidden box can be referenced in a suitable footer:
=[MyHiddenBox]
to give a total.

Depending on how you unbound field is calculated, you might be able to Sum() the calculation.
