Hi,

Can anyone help?

I have a table which has
Company Value
A 1
A 2
A 3
B 1
B 4

I want to calculate the standard deviations for each firm. How do I create a query that states for each company calcuate the SD if all the values then for the next company calculate the SD etc. So essentially I want a table with the Company and then the corresponding SD's.

Is this possible?

Thanks.
Much appreciated.

Have you considered a totals query? You can group by Company and set the value column to standard deviation.
