Calculated line in report

Hi,

I'm using CR10

I have report format like this(it is mannual crosstab),

Grp1 Revenue $4,000.00

Grp3 Comm and Floor Brokerage $200.00
Grp3 Compensation and Benefits $100.00
Grp3 Occupancy $100.00
Grp3 Technology $400.00
Grp3 Communications and Market Data $300.00
Grp3 Inter Group Reimbursement $100.00
Grp2 Direct Costs $1,200.00

Grp3 Global Support $100.00
Grp3 Other Support $250.00
Grp3 Headquarters $100.00
Grp2 Indirect Costs $450.00

Grp1 Total Expenses $1,650.00

>>Cal Net Income $2,350.00
(Revenue - Total Expense)

How can I add this calculation as Net Income, which is Revenue - total expense? In report Revenue and total expense are at same group level (Grp1).

Since group 1 is revenues or expenditures, create a formula called NetIncome:
If MyTable.RecType = "Revenue" then
MyTable.Amount else
- MyTable.Amount

This will keep revenues a positive value and make expenditures a negative value. Place this formula in the appropriate section (probably detail section). In report footer sum this formula.
