OK I have a group that has running totals each for # of inquiries. (rTotal0)
Then I have another running total with a different criteria next to it (rTotal1)
Now I have a formula that calculate rTotal0/rTotal1 upto 2 decimal points. (form_ratio)
I want these calculated formulas to be on the Y-axis of a line graph I'm generating - but when I go into chart Expert, and in the section "Data - show values", It grays out the arrow to insert the form_ratio value into it so I cant get it to display on the Y-axis. Other fields have no problems though. What could the problem be? I am using CR8

I don't believe you can graph on running totals. Could you be using conditional formulas instead of the running totals? For example, could you create a formula based on a condition, e.g.,

if {balloon} = "red" then 1 else 0

instead of doing a running total on red balloons?

If you can do this, you can create another formula {@ratio} based on two others:

{@redballoons}/{@blueballoons}

and this should be available for graphing.

I tried that, but I'm calculating totals for each Quarter for the occurences of # of inquiries. each quarter is in a group. I'm suppressing the detail section and printing the totals in the footer. there is a ratio of each quarter for col 1 to col 2, but that doesnt seem to come in the graph.
Thanks for the suggestions!
