Hello,

I created a calculated field in a pivot table that does exactly what I want. The calculated field shows the value of one other field being divided by another. The problem is, when I try and either export it to excel or try to make a pivot chart in Access, those calculated fields disappear. The whole purpose of the chart I'm trying to create needs to show these values by week as a line chart. How do I preserve these calculated fields?

dharkangel,

Just a random thought here - would it work to perform the calculation after the export to Excel?

Good Luck!
Tim

Thanks Tim, that is actually what I have been moving towards since this problem seems seems to unsolvable. Its a little more work to actually create the query myself, but I'll manage.

Thanks for responding.
