Any one has insight as to the proper construction of a calculated field within a MS Access passthrough query that is used to extract data from Oracle?

Not having any success with the following Length of Stay calculation;

Thx in advance.

DBCET.ML_CL_LINE.COML_TO_DT - DBCET.ML_CL_LINE.COML_FROM_DT LOS

Bx,

since this is a pass-through situation, you have to present a query that is valid oracle sql, against the oracle tables in question.

The text which you have posted does not even contain the word "SELECT" so how can we help you?

I am capable of producing a valid query against an Oracle database, but you have to provide more information about the tables, and what data you want to extract therefrom.

A calculated field is I suppose equivalent to a computed field, which only becomes available in Oracle 11g. Since this is an Oracle 8 forum, there is no such thing.

Can you give us a bit more information to work with?

Regards
