I cannot believe this is proving to be difficult. I have a formula that returns a value. I need to multiply that value by 4.2 percent.

CR 11 ha sa % function but I cannot get it to work - her eis my formula:

whileprintingrecords;
{@CALC3} % 4.2)

I hate to have to ask for something that every calculator on earth provides - but I cannot get the CR function to work.

Thanks in advance -

I have never used the % before. I always did it the old fashioned way {@CALC3} * .042. Anyhow it prompted me to experiment with it. The help says 'x % y, Calculates value x as a percentage of value y. That is (x/y) * 100.'. So I do not think % will work for you in this case.

The old fashioned way works for me in this case - thanks for responding!
