Calculate a report for days off

I have version 8.5 of crystal.

I need to do the following:

I need to calculate when someone has time off.

For example:

Someone worked 2/1 for the time frame of 2/1-2/14.

I need one column that shows they did not work 2/2-2/7 and
I need to show it like this:

Sa, Su, M, Tu, W, Th

And another column for 2/8-2/14 showing:

F,Sa,Su,M,Tu,W,Th

I can put on the report the days that they work but I'm having trouble figuring out when they didn't.

I've created some variables but they aren't behaving.

Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Is your column that is supposed to record your working time,a date field?

If that is so,create a table that have all the dates in a year.With the help of this table you can find out all of the dates that the people didn't work.Then you can group the records by weekly focusing on your new table. Salih Sipahi
