Calcuated Size of Notes E-Mail File

This maybe a simple question. What is the difference between the size of the Notes file in File, Database, Properties, I Tab, AND the size as displayed in the Domino Administration area?
For my mail file, I have 260 MB's in the Properties area, and 271 MB's in the Domino Admin area.
