I am in the process of updating reports to CR2008 from CR9. No problems with the report itself but when I copy it to the server andlaunch it from the system that will be using it I receive the error:

Internet Explorer Script Error
Line: 77
Char: 5
Error: '_calendarprevMonthLab' is undefined
URL: 'file:// <path to my local PC>

The error is obviously that it is trying to generate the calander from my PC to which the server does not have right to access, but I cannot see how to change this in CR2008 or why it does not look on the system to which the report resides. The current CR9 reports generate the calendar without a problem

Anyone have any idea? The test report runs fine as long as I manually type in the date range.

I'm very new to CR2008

It looks like the solution that worked for us was to copy the files and folders in c:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\crystalreportviewers115\prompting from a working machine to the machine that was having issues. When I did this, it fixed the issue.

If you don't have another machine, let me know and I can provide you with the files I used.

Thanks for the feedback, the problem seems to have been related to the configuration on the server, this server is configured by an outside vendor.

Right before I left on vacation I copied the older CR9 report onto the same enviroment and received the same error message when using the calendar.

Apparently the issue is fixed now (welcome surprise returning to work). I will check if that is how they resolved the issue

thanks again!
