Hi There,

I am new to this forum and new to writing some VBA code. I am writing some for a friend but his office is using the following versions of word.

Word 2003 (11.8313.8221) SP3
Word 2003 (11.5604.8172) no service pack number
Word 2003 (11.8134.8132) SP2
Word 2003 (11.8313.8221) SP3
Word 2007 (12.0.6504.5000) SP2 MSO (12.0.6425.1000)
the calander control i wrote in 2007 SP 1 worked fine on the Word 2003 SP 2 computer but i can not get it to run on other computers is there a different control i can use. The calander is critical as it is used to pick a date then it calculates 6 & 8 week dates in advance.
Can you please assist.
Thanks,
Gordon

You didn't say which calendar control you used. I don't use Word, but if I right-click the control toolbox in Excel and select 'additional controls' Calendar 10.0 is available.

thank you for taking the time to read my post
12.0 is the version i am using.
Do you think there is another way around this maybe just use a text box in some way to put a date into.

The calendar control can be not installed. It is a part of ms access (MSACAL), that is not included in all office versions.
The safe way is to create a simple userform consisting three dropdowns (day, month, year) with end of month day validation.
