Hi All

Quick question

Can I use SQL 2008 Standard Cals with SQL 2008 r2 Enterprise? or do i need new specific cals?

Many Thanks

For the most part (say 98%), everything in 2008 will port to r2. I have not run into a single 2008 call that failed once we upgraded to r2.

ousoonerjoe, I think people3 was talking about CALs (Client Access License).

If you purchased the CALs recently you might check with your supplier.

Someone here will most likely answer though.

Doh, sorry... I've seen some pretty bad spelling and typos around here. Didn't even think of the CAL's.
