Cajun P120 how to connect ?

Hi ,
Canjun P120, we got it without any papers/ IP address.
I would like to get samehow to config or reset it to factory defaults ( tried to reset and FIV,doesn't work), but I don't know what's IP addres to use Canjun Manager. After conecting to console with DB9-RJ45 (Cisco Cable)
I get this:

and I can't type in hyper-term window.
Is it possible to find out IP addres by using IP scanner?

Did you try a different hyper-terminal program? I seem to recall having the same problem (not being able to type) with Window's Hyperterminal. I use Tera Term and haven't had a problem.

To show the ip address with a P120 you would then need to type "show ip"

Solution : good console cable, the blue one made by Cisco did not work.

The default IP address on the P120 is: 149.49.32.134.

If nobody has changed it, you should be able to Telnet to it.

Where did you get a cable? i can not seam to find one that works

Try computer stores like 'Microcenter', they have converters 9-pin RS-232 to RJ-45 with lose pins to assemble, whitch you can use with regular CAT-5 cable.

I tried that however i build the cable wrong can you provide me any help?

I also have a cajun p120, but I can't find a console cable that will work. I've tried a cross-over cable, a straight-through, and a roll-over. Any ideas?
