Hi,
I'm trying to cut down on the number of media converters that are infesting my racks. I have several Cajun 114F fiber switches and wanted to try to use one like a Cisco 3508 fiber switch. On those you have an active fiber from a P33R switch connecting to port one on the fiber switch. All of the other fiber lines from remote locations connect to the remaining ports. This makes them all be on the LAN at the same time, cuts down on the number of converters and makes everyone (ME) happy. Any thought on this?
Thanks,
Sam
