caiw2kos : process exit

Hi,

I'm having problem to start caiw2kos on a windows 2000 server. Using Unicenter 3.1.
I have reistalled tng agents on it a couple of times, and deleted the CA_APPSW folder. The installation completes without any error messages, but when i start the agent, it fails all the time, with error : caiw2k os fail to start :process exit. First it doesnt complain, when i run awservices status immediately after caiw2kos start, it says caiw2kos running, next time it says, FAIL.

Any ideas?

When you say you deleted the ca_appsw folder, I assume you did that as part of the reinstall and not post-install?

Try running the following commands:

awservices stop
awservices start -m
aws_orb start
aws_sadmin start
caiw2kos start -l 4

then look in %agentworks_dir%\agents\logs\caiw2kos.log for more detail. Post the contents of that log back here and someone may be able to help more...

i run the above, and it fails again.

Yep - the log says it all, your license is invalid!

Call support, they will send you the license file to fix it.
